This site is to provide informations on dolls manufacturers who made cloth dolls in France from the 18th century to World War II.

In the "Index", you will find a list of manufacturers names and trademarks. This list is intended to evolve, and further details will be added regularly (trademarks, patents, photos). Cloth dolls is the central topic, however there will be an exception for specific French dolls such as Boudoir dolls.

The site is open to all, collectors and researchers, who may participate by publishing their own article on the subject (1), or provide photos of unknown dolls, or simply ask questions concerning cloth dolls.

(1) Articles must be the result of personal research on a subject, not a synthesis from various publications as this contributes to give credit to many errors by reproducing them more and more under different authors  names.
