Art cloth dolls. Ethnic caricatures dolls. Molded cloth heads with large glass eyes, bodies with wire and kapok  covered with pink cotton. Arms and legs are wire covered by kapok and flesh color silk jersey. Each finger has a wire inside to make it flexible. Two Calvaré dolls, dressed in Marquis and Marquise belongs to the Strong Museum of New York. Circa 1920. See more
