Stuffed cloth and stuffed chamois dolls.

Sophie Swieczka was a Polish painter, already etablished in Paris long before WW1. She presented a painting named "l'enfant à la poupée" (child with a doll) in 1910 at the "Salon des artistes français" at "Grand Palais" in Paris. She also had her name on the list of exhibitors at the "Exposition des Jouets Artistiques" May-June 1916 by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs Paris, where she exhibited two dolls with chamois heads, representing Pelléas and Mélisande. She also made ethnic dolls such as some "Zobeida" and "Haroun-al-Raschid".
